Baldan Bereeven Monastery
The monastery is established in 1777 at the hill of the Munkh-Ulziit Mountain, in the Bat Khol river basin by the suggestion of Tseveendorj, who was an Tsorj lama of Bogd Gegeen. It was the biggest religions centre of Mongolian east region, famous as “Ar khalkhyn Tsagaan Utai Gumben”, with 8000 lamas and their 4 provinces and memerous temples in 1813s.
