DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Danzanravjaa was born in 1803. In 1911, in recognistion of his extraordinary intellectual and artistic abilities, local religious authorities bestowed on him the titel of fifth reincarnation of the Gobi Noyon Khutagt (Terrible Noble Saint of the Gobi). He completed the basic training in Buddhist literature, art, religion and philosophy by the early 1820’s. Thereafter he established Khamar Monastery and it became local centres of culture, art and education. He gave considerable attention to the development of Khamar Monastery, in particular, he established professional theatre, public library, museum and primary school-all of which reflected his serious commitment to the cause of public education.
Danzanravjaa built his own monastery, which calles Khamariin Monastery. He practiced well the secret mantra and developed a mantra meditation in Mongolia. The high level secret mantra meditation continue for 108 days and there are 2 monks, who guide the monk. Near the Khamariin Monastery there are 108 caves, where the high level monks were meditated. If they complete their spiritual path and pass this 108 days high level secret mantra meditation, they approved by public as a Saint with supernatural power. They were renowned by their psychic powers and abilities and performing miracles. By this tour, you can see the caves, which were used for high level secret mantra meditation. This place also choosed by Danzanravjaa. He was the main leader of secret mantra meditation.
The meditating place is very important, it must be a quiet and relaxing. Khamariin Monastery’s elevation is 961 m above sea level, the scientists says the proper place for meditating elevation is 800 m-1000 m above sea level. So Mongolian Gobi is the proper place for it. When you go out from bustling Ulaanbaatar city, you will enter into the wonderful calm and endless vast grassland. When people hear the word Gobi, most of them imagine the sandy desert. But, Mongolian Gobi is not sandy, it has exposed bare rock, but water is scarce and grows wild onion and wild garlic, wormwood and saxaul. Trans Mongolian railway pass through the Sainshand and you can experience the night train here. Also, here you can fine the 2 humped camel and can tatse the camel milk diary products. Staying in ger (Mongolian traditional dwell), enjoy the tradition and wild nature and vast beautiful grasslands.
