Ulaanbaatar is the economic, political and industrial center of Mongolia and the central hub for all trips to all the destinations within the country. Ulaanbaatar is a city that combines both modern and traditional lifestyles.

 It is a city where you can see the contrast between modern skyscrapers next to old temples. If you go out of the city within 10 to 15 kilometers, you will start to see the horses and cattle. 

As of 2021, there are a total of 1,639,000 people living in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar. That is almost half of the population in Mongolia living in the city.
