    Tsonjinboldog Equestrian Statue of Genghis Khan, 13th Century Village, Blue Lake, Khangar Lake, Beleben Temple, Deer Stone, Rashan Rock, "Palace of Mongol Queens" Memorial Hall, Birthplace of Genghis Khan, Aurag Ruins . In 2011, a memorial hall was built on a hill called Doullig Nars in Bayan Adraga Village, Khentii Province to honor the queens who made various contributions to Mongolian history. This is where the 5th Living Buddha, Queen Dondogdrum and Genenpil, were born and raised.

    About tour

    This tour is a standard class tour. Stay 6 nights at a local ger (yurt) camp. The general ger camp is served in the guest room of ger, which is a traditional residence in Mongolia. Unlike the city hotels, the toilet and shower room are installed in different facilities. The restaurant and kitchen will be separate facilities. We hope you will like the ger room made of wood and felt.

    Physical strength

    This tour is not that difficult. The daily driving distance is about 150 to 300 km, and the total driving distance is about 1250 km. About 1000 km of the road is a paved road and 400 km is off-road. We arrange 4WD SUVs and Mitsubishi Delica vans for individual tours, so when it rains a lot, the car will have the ability to bypass swamp roads.

    Itineraries

    01
    Day 1: Head to the Ger camp in Terelj National Park

    After arriving at the airport, meet your guide and head to the ger camp in Terelj National Park (about 60 km). Terelj National Park is part of the southern Bagakhentii Mountains and is a scenic spot with unique landscapes of rocky mountains, alpine plants, and rivers located near the headwaters of the Tuul River. The highest mountain is Mt. Awakhan, 2664 meters high, with larch, birch, poplar, and pine trees. Animals such as deer, roe deer, bears, wild boars, wolves, foxes, and lynxes inhabit. There are wild birds such as black grouse, capercaillie, partridge, Pallas's sandpiper, and black woodpecker.

    Day 2: Terelj National Park - Blue lake

    After breakfast, we will visit the equestrian statue of Genghis Khan. The height of this equestrian statue is 40 meters from the base building, and you can climb by elevator to reach the horse mane observatory and enjoy the view of the surrounding area. After the tour, go to the "13th Century Village" theme park to see the life and appearance of a Mongolian 800 years ago. After lunch, we will head to the blue lake in Khentii province. The coronation ceremony was held in 1189 when 27-year-old Temujin to "Genghis Khan" who was king of all Mongolian tribes. After arriving at the ger camp, dinner and free time.

    Day 3: Blue lake - the Rashan Rock Ruins

    After breakfast, a stop at Khangal lake is described as rangeland for horses in Genghis Khan from The History of Mongolia. In the early 19th century, the largest temple in the eastern part of Mongolia with 8,000 monks and a center of Buddhist activity. We will visit the "Bhikkhu" temple that was. The temple was destroyed during the Purge period, but after democracy in 1990,  it was rebuilt and restored. After lunch, we will go to see the Rashan Rock Ruins. It is engraved with about 60 inscriptions of animals from the Paleolithic to the Middle Ages, pictures of people, about 400 marks of various tribes, vertical characters of Mongolia, Tibet, China, Khitan, Arabia, Goktürk, etc. It is an important place for archeology in Mongolia. After the tour, we will head to the ger camp where we stayed. After dinner, it’s free time.

    Day 4: The Rashan rock ruins - Gurwan Lake

    After breakfast, we will see the "Uglugchyn Kherem" a wall of the Khitan period around the 10th century. It is stated that on the way, deer stones, which are the remains of the Neolithic to Bronze Age around the 11th to 9th centuries BC, and the Mongolian aristocrats gathered in 1206 to hold a big conference and announced that they had established the Great Mongol Empire. We will stop by the monument and visit the memorial hall for the queens who have made various contributions to the history of Mongolia. After lunch, head to the Dadal village, the birthplace of Genghis Khan. Check-in to the ger camp and after dinner, free time.

    Day 5: Deluun Boldog (Genghis Khan's birthplace), Khaju

    It is stated in "The History of Mongolia" that Genghis Khan was born at the "Delun Boldog" and the Onon, and Balj rivers. There are many places around "Delun Boldog" where the events described in "The History of Mongolia" related to the history of Genghis Khan took place. We will tour around them. In "Delun Boldog"  three small lakes are connected and surrounded by pine forests. It has been noted that when Genghis Khan was born, he washed his body with the water of this lake. So there is a 12-meter-high monument built during the socialist era. You will also visit the "khaju" fountain and "Delun Boldog" Owoo, where Genghis Khan used to drink water. There are a lot of Buryats in the village of Dadal, so visit the Buryats family and taste the local food.

    Day 6: Dadal town - Genghis town

    After breakfast, head to Genghis town. On the way, we will pass through the Khokhur grassland and have lunch. It is the birthplace of Genghis Khan's best friend and one of the warriors, Borsch. The young Temujin first met Borsch when he was looking for eight yellow horses and had been friends since then. After arriving in the town of Genghis, visit the Khentii Prefectural Museum and the Folk Museum. There are about 200 valuable exhibits in these museums.

    Day 7: Genghis town - Awarga ruins

    After breakfast, head to Khudu Aral (Awraga Ruins). Khudu Aral is the home and birthplace of the Mongol Empire. Khuraldai (a political assembly) where all Mongolian royalty and senior vassals gather in one place is often held, and the reigning ceremony of successive Khan such as Genghis Khan, Ugudei Khan, Munkh Khan, Yusuntumur Khan, and it is the center of politics. "History of Mongolia" is also written here. And we visit the museum of the "Khudu Aral" Archaeological Institute and the excavation site of the "Awraga" archaeological site, a monument to the History of Mongolia.

    Day 8: Awraga Ruins - Ulaanbaatar city

    After breakfast, head to Ulaanbaatar city. Along the way, we will have lunch at Baganuur city, which is famous for being a coal town. Arrived in Ulaanbaatar in the afternoon and checked in at the hotel. Free time after dinner.

    Day 9: Ulaanbaatar city tour

    After breakfast, the city tour begins. Enjoy the Sukhbaatar Square, Folk History Museum, Folk Dance Appreciation, shopping, and more. Lunch and dinner at the city restaurant.

    Day 10: Departure to the Japan

    Head to the airport with your guide. Check-in for your return international flight. This concludes the trip.

    地方のゲルキャンプはモンゴルの伝統的な住居であるゲルに宿泊させます。モンゴルゲルは木とフェルトでできる。空気交換が非常に良くて、よく休める住居です。「トーノ」と呼ばれる天窓で夜空の星を見ながら眠りにつくことができます。ただ、トイレとシャワー室が別に施設に設置されています。

    食事について:

    モンゴルは家畜の国で、5種類の家畜を飼って、食料として使用しています。モンゴルの家畜は大草原で自由に放牧し、好きな草を食べて、きれいな水を飲んでいるので、肉がとても美味しくてオーガニック肉です。我々がモンゴル風で作った羊肉と牛肉で料理を作って出しています。ですから、お肉が食べられない方は事前にお知らせください。お客様のニーズやリクエストに応じて食事を提供するようにします。地方で新鮮な乳製品を味わうこともできます。地方でジャガイモ、ニンジン、キャベツなどの野菜を主に食べます。ウランバートルの市内レストランで多種類の野菜を食べることができます。

    飲み物:

    地方のゲルキャンプで国内産のビールやウオッカをメインに売っていまるので種類が少ないです。ワイン、ウイスキー、ブレンディなどが好きな方は自分の好きな飲み物をウランバートルで買って、地方へ持って行くことをお勧めします。日本語ガイドのほうから必要な情報をお届けします。
