Ikh Bogd, the highest peak of the Gobi-Altai Mountains, was created by the 1957 earthquake and has a unique and majestic view. Ikh Bogd, the highest peak of the present-day Gobi-Altai Mountains, is 3957 meters above sea level, and the “Tsonj” summit is at about 3000 meters. It is a mountain located in the Gobi region of Mongolia, but like the Khangai region, it has permanent snow and moss, alpine plants, and medicinal herbs. It is written that the snow that falls on the summit of Ikh Bogd in midsummer turns to rain in the middle of the mountain, and the temperature at the foot of the mountain is 20 to 30 degrees Celsius.
